People will often disappoint you. life will often disappoint you...
It's times when you feel like you constantly have to explain stuff to people, stuff that seem so obvious to you. People will often exhaust you, mock you or criticize you heavily. but most importantly, they will, and without a doubt, disappoint you.
But wait ! here is the bigger challenge ! the biggest disappointment of all will come from the people you had labeled as "safe and trustworthy", people that you have loved and were so sure that they will never harm you. People that you have set as "the elite of your entourage" because you were so sure you can count on them. people that you called "my best friend", "my love", "my family". THAT same exact bunch, will at some weird and totally wrong timing (but then again the timing is always wrong) Disappoint you.
And when you do experience that, and realize the fact that no human being is in fact "trustworthy" , you will taste the bitterness of loneliness. why? well because at some point you will be so messed up by that experience of disappointment that you start questioning everything. you mainly start questioning yourself, and that will bring you great pain. No one seems reliable anymore, not even yourself. You come to build a new concept for the "human condition", one that has always existed before you and I, but also one that is never truly acquired outside personal experience (well like everything else) . and this concept goes like this : people are not perfect, not your mom, your dad, your friend, your teacher, your loved one. No One is perfect. not you... people at any time may stumble and fall, causing so much mess all the way down...
in the process of understanding this concept, you may realize that You Have DONE IT TOO! that you have been once a Source of disappointment ! sometimes, you might even start beating yourself up for it !
carrying on this pain, life goes on. but this time you're prepared; or so you think you are.
Theories of disappointment start controlling your choices, theories like "let's stay on the safe side", "what if I come out of this bruised", "this is way too far fetched", "no way! get REAL"... ideas like that cross your mind every single day. Untill...
Until, one day you realize that you became a spectator of your own life's wonders because you were afraid. Afraid to take a leap of faith, knowing that you might get disappointed. ..
